well, fooey. even when I find the cable to get my photos off my camera, they're mostly of glass tiles, and geese. I'm not the incessant nincon shutterbug I once was. (I am looking for photos from Tcon 97 and 98, for comparison.)

Highlights from the weekend include;
  • Riding the Swan Boat with [livejournal.com profile] olusx (alas, after my camera battery died.) Unlike Boston's Swan boats, Toronto's swan boats are boats shaped like swans, not boats with stylized swans behind the passengers. Afterwards, catching a later ferry back, getting to see actual swans and cygnets.
  • Red Moon Rising, with [livejournal.com profile] owenf.
  • Riding the 2slow4centripetal force virtual coaster at Playdium, also with [livejournal.com profile] olusx, my ride-buddy.
  • Dishing, o best beloved, on a mutual, non-ninnie friend with [livejournal.com profile] zodmicrobe
  • Geek-fallaciously mixing in local elboid/timster [livejournal.com profile] thespian at Marche.
  • Finally meeting a few more alt.music.nin folks in the flesh, nearly a decade later.
  • About every 3rd word spoken by [livejournal.com profile] paat.
  • [livejournal.com profile] chuque wanting to buy a hooker to get enough players for canasta.
  • [livejournal.com profile] corpseguy's spiffy magic trick.
  • the way Clive desperately held onto the chair in an attempt to avoid being dragged into group karaoke.
  • after how many trips to toronto, finally getting to swim in [livejournal.com profile] yokes's pool.
  • Getting to know [livejournal.com profile] cheekymonkey.
  • Getting along with [livejournal.com profile] lissyssil in spite having not really even conversed with each other in 7 years. (a fun metaphoto of us with cheeky.)

and, I'm sure I left a lot out...
