Guilty pleasures

cthulhiaUnlike so many of you, I did not have a bad day today.
Gave up my Harry Potter pass, because Uz was waiting for his fiance to get back from Manhattan. Then The Terminal was rescheduled, so he suggested we see 13 Going on 30. Yes, it was his idea. And we both giggled our way through it. He's officially a chick now. Or possibly the most secure guy I know.
I wondered aloud how much of this tolerance resulted from his ongoing Valentine escalation with Upyernoz. (Two straight guys and they've been each other's Valentine since college, cards and flowers, etc.)
He then confessed that the lead actress played Electra in yet another adapted comic book movie recently. And we did spend the insipid previews whispering about how we HAD to see Alien v. Predator together...
The closest I had to stress today was diet related, which by law must be exiled to the other side of the lj cut.
1. Blue shirt offers their wraps as salads, and will hold the rice, but the garlic aioli sauce tasted too sweet. (Although even vinegar tastes too sweet, but it's apparently ok. My sugar sense is way off right now.)
2. I was getting increasingly alarmed over the fact that, dammit, I HAVE been eating a lot of high-fiber veggies, so why is everything, um, stuck? At least, up until a few minutes ago. Ah. I feel better now.
