marmota gave me a rose. (before waggling the eyebrows, he had a bag of individually-wrapped roses. loaded for bear, as it were. but it's nice seeing an ubercynic being romantic, especially in my direction.)
awfief treated me to a movie and to burdick's afterward.
chalaneh, kalessin, pup and len covered me for dinner.
chalaneh treated me to the late DVN show.
chalaneh and jencallisto provided many, many headscritches.
corwin made us oozy chocolate "bombs".

now to rest up for the drive...
