I played both versions of Carcassonne today, which may only worsen my habit of calling forests "cities". I can't tell if I like Hunters & Gatherers better simply because of the charismatic mega-fauna, or it's now the familiar rules set, or if it truly a better variant.
Trudged home from Chaoflux on a windy route down straight roads and sidewalks, depending on where corner houses cut their path between the thigh high snowbanks to the road from the sidewalk, backtracking from dead ends where they had no more places to shovel snow, or their neighbor failed to shovel at all. Made me wish I had a snowblower and enough land to carve out a formal Snow Maze.
Didn't vacuum, didn't go to the gym. Curse you, Alchemy!
Did manage to get a few bills paid and mailed, remailed most of the postcards that came back to me (27,
queue, if you're counting), met up with
treacle_well at Diesel where we only got seating because we asked a stranger if we could share the booth.
She worked on her list of 100 things for LJ. I assume I am sufficiently prolific, however, if NOT, I have enough LJ friends that if each one of you (who actively reads) were to come up with 1-10 things you know about me (without repeating any previous list), I'd hit 100 eventually. So, if y'all want to start such a list, and get it more than halfway, I can try to complete it for you.
I sat down and made up a list of chores and projects.
Probably the only thing that will motivate me to vacuum is if I have people over, at least monthly.
I am cross-checking various dates for things. (I am still waiting on a date selection for Sooz brunch).
3/9 anti-social. (S suggested I have enough of my own literature to host one.)
4/12 Feet festival. (foot massage, foot soaking, toe socks, etc., maybe a long geocaching hike first to tire those toes out...)
Any known conflicts?
