No need to start the killin'
Jun. 2nd, 2007 01:31 pmDespite her new, allegedly connected jobby job,
coolwhitestare could not score me passes to the O13 sneak preview. However, she did snag me a T-shirt, we're arranging a hand-off no later than The Ego and the Oracle (TOMORROW NIGHT! Featuring
hahathor).
A quick surf shows that the likely design means there's little point to an LJ poll to see whose face ends up on my nipples. (Nonetheless, Ellen Barkin for the win!) It is a size M, which means that it may be tight enough to function like a corset. (Still, that size-M shirt from Stuff@Night that says "Take a good look", right in the boobular regions, will be hard to beat).
That might've not gotten coolwhitestare entirely out of the woods, except that I've received a postcard pass. I'm hoping that's the one via WildAboutMovies (who may be trying harder to get the postcard passes since AMC has started rejecting their usual printed emails), and that I might still get one through BostonNow. Then I can bring more of you... to mop up the drool, or something.
Vu still fondly remembers watching One Fine Day, where I rather played it up for the sake of the people who were Not Fans making fun of the Fan (which is a lot like how the infinite halo postcards got started!) He's even offered to dress up for me. (He'll be coming directly from work. Not sure if they have that kind of dress code, or if his boss will spend the day fretting over the possibility of him having a job interview.)
If the film is watchable, I may even pay money to see it again. (Prolly at the Somerville. Not because they're second run, but, I really want to support their beer & wine experiment. The manager said he'd consider Mimosa Matinees if there was enough interest, which just sounds awesome. And, Matt Damon movies tend to play there forever. Does his mom still live around here?)
