Another Life or Death Decision
Nov. 9th, 2006 01:12 pmWhich it can feel like, if you've ever worked in a corporate setting where, for whatever reason (lost wallet, stolen lunch, wallet/food inaccessible due to unavailable keys or alarm deactivation codes, etc.) you have no money and no means of getting better food. The qualities of the coffee machine as source of entire meal become pretty important.

I mean, sure, I'll raid food offerings, if observably public (and here we get into the standards of how to determine whether food on someone's desk is public, which varies not just by office, but by coworker, so tread carefully), but I'm NOT one of Those People who steals Other People's Property right out of the fridge. There is a special place in hell for them.
