This would be it.
However...
I mind not having functional windshield wipers. Most of my fellow drivers probably mind this too. I was definitely Not an Above Average Driver this morning.
I also mind not having insulated waterproof/resistant shoes. The tacky pink boots keep me dry. The incredibly comfy, suede, slightly-better-than clogs keep most of my foot warm. (I have stompy boots somewhere. Maybe they have treads.)
I mind not locating the liner for my coat. This will become a problem very soon. Especially since no one else is shoveling the driveway these days.
I lost a mitten en route to Who's Afraid of the Virgin Mary? on Saturday night. Someday, I'll manage to hold onto a full pair of mittens/gloves for an entire year. Luckily, I still have half of the last pair of poodle mittens. I still don't have a coffee mitten!
hauntmeister's lawn pets were well-bundled up when I last saw them. I had been expecting Santa hats. Who among that latest craft craze knitted matching hats, scarves and sweaters for his flamingos? Your OCD is greater than mine, bucko. :)
Best (not mentioned on the official map) house on the Illuminations tour this year: The Easter Island Head, flanked by 2 tiki torches, snowflake gels projected onto the house behind it. The two tiki torches made me think of Survivor combined with the original South Park (Jesus v. Santa) Spirit of Christmas. Summer Street. Do check it out if you can.
My second favorite decoration was
infinitehotel hiding a (toy) sniper in his Solstice Tree. During the day, you might notice a suspicious dark spot in the tree. At night, it took a while, but almost always got giggles (except for one "ew, that action figure really creeps me out"). I know I'm a little strange, but it gave me impure thoughts about the Latin actors in Clear and Present Danger.
Ilona's house is colored much like her craft show display. I walked over to pick up those aquamarine-glass bracelets, and forgot the house number. Hmmm, I bet it's that orange one, with the green and yellow trim. I was right! (And they are very pretty. Wearing them with all the aqua clothes yesterday was probably overkill. They look better with black, which, conveniently enough, comprises most of my wardrobe.)
