Things will always change. on some level.
Don't get caught up in trying to keep things from changing, or getting to a good stopping point, reaching n goals so you can "relax" and stop changing. Things change anyway. ("The things are also people.")
I'm not always happy with the overall result of the changes in my life, when I go home and review my life as a not-nearly-as-hopeless-as-I-thought-I-was teenager, but, I wouldn't want to be exactly the same now. (Sure, I wouldn't mind having that body again, now that I know how to appreciate it, comparatively. But, some part of me knows that means I'm probably not sufficiently appreciating this body.)
She'll probably get there soon enough, but, this also means, don't wait to make needed changes.
Here once again I am often overwhelmed by the too many choices thing. What needs changing first?

"day 6: weather v. cold. nipples v. hard. hope it warms up closer to big flaming eye."
this then led to a recent discussion of using Sauron to help with blown fuses. "I can't see the fuse box, put on the ring."

spinrabbit was game to try to make something out of the funky silvery (size 4 needle) cotton/silk(y?) yarn that never became a sweater for me in the 80s. Size 4 needle. A wide scarf/shawl/runner sort of thing. At least I still like some of the tastes I had back then. Don't know when I'll see it again, since I didn't feel I had money to really force the issue.
If I do commission a sweater, it'd be the one I mentioned. But actually, I think a custom/smaller version of a cartographer's table gets priority as a big craft investment.
To Hilary Scott or Not To Hilary Scott? I will at least inquire as to his rates....
