cthulhiaListening to your authentic compass will affirm you're headed in the right direction. It will also let you know when you're Not. Knowing means choice, which means change, which means short-term upheaval for uncertain eventual returns. We often blind ourselves when that becomes a necessary risk.
I feel I am mainly drifting. But I can't say that I entirely hate it. Focus would be good. But I could argue my focus is bringing people together, which I AM doing, even more so now. I am not sure what else I do sufficiently well. Art, perhaps, if I had the discipline to do it as often as I should.
I am semi-concom for the Looneys at Arisia this year. After 3 emails with Robin Hobb, I may get her to Worldcon 04.
My compass just spins regarding my most time consuming obsession. Last night went well, but I wonder at what cost. Have I proven myself irresistable, or untrustworthy?
