cthulhiaThe shoot that, today, shut down Manhattan's City Bakery (thecitybakery.com, but don't bother clicking that) is the Drew Barrymore / Hugh Grant (romantic) movie, not the (not-observably romantic) Clooney movie. Not that it really matters to the addicts who need their fix.
City Bakery seems to have a following like Burdick times Diesel. Just mentioning Burdick Cocoa got us dragged there to be humbled in February. The marshmallows are, in fact, amazing. (I even ended up buying some of the sorta similar hippy marshmallows from Whole Paycheck last night, because this tidbit was wandering around my mind, looking for a way to program my inner consumer).
I still prefer Burdick for the cocoa, but I'd love to add a City Bakery marshmallow to a cup of it sometime.
