If you missed yesterday's IFF screening of Twisted at the Coolidge, catch it at the Somerville today at 5:30.

Of all the films I saw at IFF, this was the best one so far, and probably not just because I'm a balloon junkie. Probably. (I also saw less movies this year, since I ended up helping with The Ego and the Oracle instead of 2 film-filled evenings.)

Other reviews:
Fay Grim was decent. (I've yet to see Henry Fool, so I don't feel I can properly rate it.)

Black Sheep was, well, everything I expected it to be, in a satisfying way.

The one shorts program I saw was not awful, but nothing must-see.

Lake of Fire was graphic, and, tried to avoid taking sides. I suspect one would feel it confirmed one's viewpoint, no matter what it is.

The Ten was mislabeled. I saw a lot of older folks and families go thinking it would be, er, less irreverent. They left in the middle. I'd classify it with Something About Mary, which was worth enduring, once, just to fully appreciate the musical number at the end. The Ten's finale number is not as good, but the rest of the movie is not as dreadful. Looks like it was a fun movie to make. I get how they snagged such a stellar cast.
