I lost two (2) vacation days to zero (0) Nine (9) Inch Nails concerts, but I managed an oxycore in 996 (nine hundred ninety six) turns.
My "Out on the Porch" calendar's March image is of Umbria, which isn't Lombardia, but is close enough to make me squirm, just sayin'.
it's really lent now, not that I'm a believer or anything, but, short term resolutions have their uses. since I've fallen behind on my loss goals, I'm going to try to drag my fat ass back into low carb land. at least, no seriously starch-tacular things (I suppose this means reintroducing whole fruit beyond pomelos and limes), with a possible dessert break for restaurant week, immoderate booze break aroundSneaky Pete's St. Patrick's Day and, well, anything goes for my birthday. Zarf still owes me some homemade chocolatey evil, and that's the best time really.
I'll still be dosing with 1000% pure chocolate, of course. (Is it too cynical to suspect their claimed concentrations of purity?) There's still a (chocolate) mouse in the fridge. Think if I play the whole "EEEEK!" game with Zarf he could be coerced to eat it for me? Difficulty level should be right up there with forcing
pierceheart to finish the rest of the can of Guinness I didn't need for my (Poor Man's) Black Velvet at
fangirl715's NINny pity-party on Monday.
Yesterday I pity-partied solo at the Museum of Science. The Star Wars exhibit should be too current to have so much of it already in need of repair (or even just reboot), and, er, the 3PO in the robot presentation theater is, er, more anatomically correct than I recall. The butterfly garden was neat, but, mostly because I could remember
blackbear88's story of another butterfly garden, and hotgluing chrysalises... chrysali?
