when I first moved in, he lowered the rent by $100 because I was one person, to be increased to the listed price whenever I got a roommate, which happened within months. in those 5 years, he's raised the rent overall by $50, and even that was with reluctance.

now that I'm sans roommate again, he's lowered down another $100.

and the other sign from above that I made the right choice to live alone?
the moment I got the keys back, the bathroom light started working again.
