A morning run helped sort out the malaise that didn't get slept off.
I felt guilty about laming yesterday when offered a rare "cool-enough" August morn. Running does make me feel better. Perhaps head-clearing. Maybe just the ego boost for minor accomplishment, working out before breakfast and all. Not to mention my stamina and speed seem improved with the weight loss. That's motivating.
My regular 3.5 mile loop takes me by METRO boxes. Their daily crossword is suitable for beginners like me. I had enough "waiting for the color printer" down time to finish the puzzle early and get further into a few, slightly more challenging, Games puzzles. I may need to plan a daily morning run or walk just to get the crosswords. Avoid the hassle at work of screenshooting the puzzle as large as fits on my false resolution screen (the type is tiny), shrinking that into a printable size, to make up for the pixel blur... it's kludgy, but it took less time and paper than sorting out how to get that corner of the pdf's tabloid page to print on letter. Although, I just had to crop a bunch of pdf's going from hi to low res today. Maybe I'll remember that process this time.
Lunch on the office terrace, in perfect weather, geeking out about movies and film props. "I won't spoil Kill Bill #2 if you stop spoiling the Museum of Science Exhibit, ok?"
A decent day so far.
