My nephew got accepted into the naval academy!

This calls for a toast, perhaps a nice sparkling Tasmanian (wine).

([livejournal.com profile] tamidon warned me about letting [livejournal.com profile] charleshaynes pick wines, but I thought it was that he merely had expensive tastes, not that expensive tastes were quite so highly infectious.) Unless people can recommend a specific awesome wine that rarely gets sold in Boston. (I really wanted the "3 sisters" wine to be decent, since I am one of 3 sisters, but, alas, no such luck.)

I'm reluctant to check much wine (ok, I'll check white wines, but no reds!), and... probably won't carry-on more than 2 bottles, packaged in a yellow bag that says "DUTY FREE" in large friendly letters.
