Ok, I lied
Sep. 29th, 2007 06:48 pmSorry mangosteen, turns out that a 2-hour dragonboat practice, starting at 9 am, does last all day.
cthulhias, along with "bacon" and "chocolate".
- 9-11 am practice (post-race season means trying out weird new techniques, with little fear that, if awful, we won't recover in time for the next race. "Yeah Cap'n, I love 15 continuous minutes of pyramid progressions. I live for it. [...] I hate you.")
- 11-1 waiting for the folks with individual evaluations to be "tested" and then have their discussion about it, so we could go have lunch together. (Why I didn't skip this to either go to alt.wheels or the MIT museum open house is a mystery, well... except for the ravenous hunger from a 2 hour practice).
- 1-2 trying to agree on a new place for lunch, and taking the long way round North End to find it.
- 2-3 lunch at Pizzeria Regina
- 3:30 Mike's Pastry. [...] Sure, I thought I was torturing YOU with the whole Pistachio Cookies mantra on IM, but, guess who ended up having to go buy some!
- 4 pm What the Fluff? with various team members
- 5:30ish turning down a ride to instead walk home, just get a brief break from the team before the big birthday bash of a team member tonight.
