Tonight (after actually getting some painting done, in fact) I was playing with video chat with one of my burning man campmates. This led to random link swaps. (Well, sorta. Video IM screws my regular IM, so, I was actually just saying what words to google, and which number result was best. anyway...)
This led to discussion the MIT Mystery Hunt, which led to the heartwarming video by Colon Inflating Rhinoceri, which eventually caused me to check out the Setec entry to the same puzzle. After that, one of the suggested youtube clips was Border Collie Attacks Pumpkin.
Other than being classified as "humor" it has nothing in common with the mystery hunt clips. I have to wonder if I have some extra special browser cookie action happening.
See, way back before I was on boingboing, I was on suck.com, albeit sans credit, for my awesome photo of Dogs in Elk, depicted in pumpkins. This took place in
hauntmeister 's living room, back when it was inhabited by his tenants. He'd given the go ahead to really thoroughly destroy the carpet because it was being ripped out the next morning. Thus they hosted an Indoor Pumpkin Carving Party, and the rest is 15 minutes of internet fame.
I've changed computers twice since then. How the hell does youtube know about my dark past with dogs and pumpkins?
