This Year's First Life or Death Decision

This may be entirely lost on you if you haven't played Kingdom of Loathing

Cthules was gifted with a custom avatar form. I promptly tried to photoshop the avatar I'd always wanted (the retired cheshire bat, with a bra made of traffic cones), but it just didn't look sufficiently wonderful.

So, I sat on the form for a couple months, waiting for inspiration.

Crimbo happened, and with it, the appearance of a Cookie-baking Thing from Beyond Time... which, in light of the Gingerbread Carcassonne, is almost perfect.

So, once Crimbo was over, I asked "Jick" if I could use the image alone or as a base for a custom avatar. He ok'd both.

Now I need to figure out if I should use just that image, or if I should add anything to it. I'm known among players for making balloon hats at meat-ups. But, a balloon hat might make the image too... inelegant. (Elegant as in Zendo rules, not formal dinner party.)

I could put something in the right "hand". Something I collect, like (long skinny) balloons, gummi gnaugas, or, lately, (instigated by other players) Ocean Motions. (HINT: Usually sent to me in batches of 11, 12, or 13.)

I'm leaning towards a martini glass (per the classic game logo/jick avatar), or a classic balloon shape, or just going with the original. But, what do you think would work best?
