And the day had already been going really, really well.

Having no solid plans, I stopped off in Harvard Square to pick up my repaired sandals from Berks, ended up getting a free facial at Origins. What? You'll do this sensual massage thing to my face, and in air conditioning? O, twist my arm. (Yes, before y'all get snarky, I'm sure if I went to Origins, I could probably score something similar.)

This made me late enough that I bumped into Naha on the T, en route to his regular monday BBQ foo. Since Redbones had rescheduled the Bike Block party to last night, they were considering going elsewhere. The owner recognized them as regulars, and gave all of us free meal and beer tickets. This too did NOT suck.

Afterwards, hauntmeister, SST and I grooved to the jazz band. When they dispersed, haptotrope joined me, along with Mr.Honey, and a few folks I'm guessing are SCUL peeps. We availed ourselves of the perfect ice cream weather. Bumped into roozle and miss_chance, because my hip neighborhood is often worth what I pay to live here. O yeah.

Hapto walked me home, and I barely had time to cyberflirt with peeps from this weekend, and check out haplo3k's photos (here's me impersonating a 14 year old), before dougo came by, with flowers.

Even won the first game I played with it!

(thanks to a miscommunication about my vacation days, I am technically done with my contract as of, well, now. although I'm planning to come in on friday morning just to pack up whatever I don't want to carry today, which is most of it.)
