the barbie murderer strikes again

so, in an effort to (1) condition myself to start waking up by 7 or earlier (ultimately earlier enough to be able to dress and get to the gym in time for a 7 am class) and (2) at least mail most of my gifts before epiphany, even if only one of them is likely to get there by tomorrow, I managed to get them wrapped and brought to the "Not Mailboxes Etc (for one thing)" in Davis and still have time left for breakfast before rushing off to work.

Not without casualities. [...]

I managed to knock over and shatter the legs off the [transparent barbie doll body full of tacks] I bought at open studios last spring. I was all kinds of annoyed, but, the artist might be able to fix it (or at least tell me what glues to avoid), and she's still local and accessible and all. [EDIT: she moved to San Francisco, but, she said I can mail it to her.] And, I would never have stumbled across the Bestest Advent Calendar Ever.

the IS Love thing

is it supposed to list MY name and icons (as opposed to whoever is posting it) when it loads on my friends page?
(I'm really irritated that the program keeps trying to make the lime red, rather than somehow detecting color dominance in the icons and lining them up suitably.)

the random generator does this:
(I can't get the site to load, but when it loads someone else's post on my flist, it's always in this order.)
