Potter? (No. No. Something Hotter.)
Jul. 19th, 2005 03:37 pmThanks to a sly handoff from
claudia_ last night, I am 331 pages deep.
Halfway.
Soon I will be able to click on those lj-cut text="herein lies spoilers for only the strongest of wizards" tags.
I woke up sweaty. This is reasonably rare. (I'm not a dripping sweating type, not even running the 15K, although I usually pour enough water on myself then that you can't tell.) It still didn't feel all that bad until the walk between the chilled T and the chilled office.
At lunch, I had a bottomless iced tea in a chilled restaurant. My teeth were chattering when I got back. I had to have hot tea to warm up.
Who needs to go to burning man, and trudge through 115 degree heat to Anarctica, the refrigerated semi where they served hot cocoa, to get such sensory contradictions?
