Good production values, good acting, especially heartfelt and heroic, decently filmed tense action scenes, which years of dating Stick Jocks conditioned me to really appreciate, like, um, a lot.

I probably wouldn't have bothered to see it in the theater if it hadn't been free. (But the action scenes might lose significant value on the small screen.) Got the passes at Trivia on Wednesday, a sort of consolation for having one player too many to collect first prize. (The new place doesn't have wily regulars yet, we were ahead more than 20 points.)
(Next week's freebie is Howl's Moving Castle... I suppose, if the book were to turn up on my desk in time, like tomorrow... er, today... I'd have to try to read it before seeing the movie.)
