Mar. 6th, 2005 01:02 pmremember, the internet is forever.
Some of you have been cutting and paste-ing "locked" stuff to those without access for years. (Or just discussing it and not realizing that, friend-linked or not, I wasn't on that filter).
I can't imagine any of you providing third parties with your password to continue to do so.

In other news, stop whining about lack of comments (especially on weekends, sheesh).
Write because you want to write, not primarily for (direct) feedback. If your primary goal is feedback, choose a less passive medium (or, work on your presentation and subject matter). You can't know when someone simply doesn't have the time to read or ruminate over what you say. (This IS different from someone who clearly does read and comment avidly on LJ, but not in my journal. Which is, as you know, unforgivable, since I am far more interesting. grin.)
If you post as often, or more, than I do, it will seem like people respond less than they do to folks who rarely post. Do the math.

For the record, I still don't have net at home. It's dismaying how many timely net-only invites I received this weekend. (Although, yes,
miss_chance, better than No invites at all.) I could've brought someone along to the BURN party yesterday... if only she'd remembered that I probably wouldn't read her LJ until afterwards.
It's also annoying that I'm not sure who to call, on the phone to go see a movie tonight. Which is a problem with my social networking skills, yes, I know. (Enough that I'm considering cancelling net@home entirely until I'm better.) Not sure why it's easier to point out everyone else's warts when you dutifully show off your own, but it is.
