[m4w] serenity

she mentions the value of serenity, the concept.

Of course, my first image is of some incontinence product. stupid consumerist culture. (Close to Home is of some kid operating a clean underwear stand outside the ER.)

Then I start to think about that South Pacific island I can't have, even though I've had all sorts of daydreams about it.

Not that my life isn't arguably serene.
How much time can I spend in the gym tonight? I have no other plans. Then again it may be my only time to work out before Sunday's race...

blew off sunday because I wanted to be outside, and decided not to run outside because why? I don't remember.
blew off monday because I decided at the last minute to see the Oscar Shorts at Coolidge.
yesterday was dinner and gaming with the one of the few local circles that doesn't make me feel excluded these days.
Not that I fit in there much either.

bleh.
not so much depressed as just... bleh.
that's some value of serene.

find me ANYTHING to support this statement

(A note from a relative)
"I will move to Croatia if Kerry wins and the Reps lose control of either house. I'd even take Hillary over him and that's saying alot for me. Even if he wins, hopefully, the Reps. will still be in charge of Congress so that the Dems cannot destroy the best economy we have witnessed to date in this country."

This is the best economy we have witnessed to date? Where are they getting this statistic?

No really, I've heard nothing but lack of jobs and unemployment dropping almost solely because people have been jobless so long they aren't being counted anymore. Someone, somewhere, is hearing something else. Does even FoxNews support this statistic?
