Greetings from Arisia. (Waiting to see if there'll be enough leftover Chinese food from the run I was invited to join but didn't get to thr right people to add to the order in time.)

Much less personal stress because I eschewed responsibility, but some stress from feeling that I might've done n better. [Insert your favorite cliche regarding Hindsight here].

Note to self: no matter what the temperature outside, it is always warm enough inside for chafing to be an issue. Must pack running shorts next year. (Depending on Hunt stuff...)

Today's entry is about Thinking, and the delicate balance between too much or too little. Some crowds, like most of Arisia, tend to focus on intellect/education more than the norm (even when some people really aren't that bright, which I've encountered a few times this weekend already). The norm being, say, Bridezilla, who describes me as difficult because I can't just sit there and accept things, I always have to think about it.

So, the sort of "Women are meant to play dumb", "Women are irrational by nature" and to have your brain taken seriously you must completely excise intuitive thought, etc.

She argues that you need to find a middle ground.

I'll think about it.
