Valentine Contact

so I guess I can copy text files into private entries on LJ and send my total overland address list to work. Maybe start addressing postcards during my downtime here. (I have since removed that entry of course, knowing what sort of security geeks y'all are.)

Of course, my address list is out of date if you've moved since last year. If you've moved (or met me) in the past two years, your address still might not have made it onto my master list at all. Just because I know how to find your place in person doesn't mean I actually know the address (or your last name!)

I have 212 copies of the Three of Cups. (Since monday, I've been dealing with watching entire episodes of Futurama while my pokey laptop processes photoshop filters and merry mix-ups at Kinkos instead of LJ. I had to dig back 80 entries before I found out Poppa was ok.)

I'll be sending one copy to an address, and then handing out the leftovers, unless it's really important to you to get the postmark.

[RTO] romance != relationship

Skipping any days this month means I get to her Valentine's day entry late. Feh. I'm not sure how the math works out. I've only skipped 2 days, but also skipped one entry. Dude, I'm at a loss.

At this rate, I'll get to that entry perhaps by Sunday. Just as well, it's a cooking entry. I might be done with the current crop of leftovers by then. (Dinner party tomorrow, unless I can find a date to go see Bloodline at Mobius. Other catered events on Saturday.) Although, I might go shopping tonight anyway, since I already have to hit the Central Post Offal (to get more than 100 postcard stamps).

So, in this entry, she talks of enjoying Paris alone. I remember doing Paris alone. It bummed me out as often as it did not. I sat transfixed in the oval rooms of Monet museum, played in the goofy fountains, checked out the churches and art I'd been studying. At some point, I'd think Wow, then bum that I shared the memory with no one.

I suspect I would do less of that now, and do my best to fill up on Wowness.

So, um, send me to Paris. Stat.
