ARGH! In my enthusiasm for cleaning up the house

I tripped over the laptop's powercord. Not only pulled the power supply from the socket, which appears to be fixed, but torqued the socket where the cord enters the laptop, which does not appear to be fixable.

I'll be shutting down this computer until I figure out how to deal with that.

I did want to scan some art (before tomorrow) and deal with my Web page. If you and your laptop would like to come over and keep me company, give me a call.

I intend to go to the gym today (before 8, probably the class at 5 pm) and then go grocery shopping, (sometime after dark), but, other than that, I'm home all day.

All alone, without even net access. :(
