Alas, this advice is not useful to me at the moment, as much as I wish it were. I take solace in everyone else's cubicles.
By the way, Queue wrote that last post. I forget to log myself out now that I'm the only one home. But, he made me breakfast (the place must've reeked of bacon when the vegans dropped by for the desk), let me abuse him mercilessly at Jamaica Plain Open Studios, and then carried up the gaming table that I've left in my car for over a week. For the record, it's an end table with games in it, not an extra sturdy card-table. There seemed to be some confusion on the matter.
Open Studios always makes me covet other people's homes, belongings and lives. I wish my place looked that cool, etc. If I couldn't live in Davis, I'd move to JP. But, it's just as expensive now, and I don't think I'd gain enough artistically to lose what I have here socially.
Lantern Parade (now that another event has taken the title "Lantern Festival") is Sunday, October 20. EVERYTHING is happening that weekend, Argh!
