cthulhia: (my day in the sun)
[Awfief commented on Saturday that my SA entries mean more if written daily as the book would prefer, and with the LJ cuts, sheesh, she never bothers reading them now. So, at the risk of being more than half the entries on some of my friends' friends pages, I will try to go back to doing these once a day.]

Success brings change, adjustment. Change isn't bad, but can be uncomfortable. So we focus on our old reliable failures. Things in my life right now are generally going really quite well. But it is easier to focus on the few ways in which they aren't.

I have job interviews. Lots of friend support. Reasonable health in spite of myself. Sufficient family/financial support, in spite of ourselves. I even made a piece of genuine art yesterday rather than just talking about wanting to. A nicely dyed egg.

And any romantic isolation is my choice.
