cthulhiaI went out and bought new stockings (and a black sparkly "shrug") for a party I ended up not even attending.
because I "briefly stopped by" another party first,
that had a fantastic live band,
who played past 1 am.
dancing in vaguely fetishy (i.e., not precisely comfortable) boots, for 3 hours (after running a 5K in the afternoon), pretty much exhausted me. (I'd even started squirrelling away piles of mardi gras beads, knowing their cloven fruit value would make them very popular at the second party.)
I slept 10 hours and I'm still sore. And, I have a personal training appointment in an hour.
At least it'll be a good OUCH.
