the best part about this film was...
I had been vaguely hoping there'd be the reverse, people offering unclaimed Serenity tickets. I would've been morally obliged to do my part to make sure it was a full house. :)
Although that would've required blowing off a birthday concert. That turned out to be decent, except for that one act that resonated exactly like a dental drill during a root canal. This is from someone (me) who enjoys Einstuerzende Neubauten. Live. Don't care how cute last night's act might've been to watch.
Although, it did give me something to talk about with Sinus Brady and Mascara dude. I went to almost all of his Lizard Lounge showcases, but he only remembers the time when everyone (else) showed up to see Amanda Palmer. shrug
- it was free?
- just imaging the anachronarcs in SCAdia going ballistic?
- just imaging the (modern) Xians going ballistic?
- Legolas disguised as Aragorn?
- afterwards getting to see people outside offering $150 for a single ticket to the Serenity screening?
